Porcelain veneers also boast a longer lifespan compared to Nanofill™ (15+ years and 8 years, respectively). This comes with a higher price tag - you can expect to pay £895 per tooth for porcelain veneers, and £495 per tooth for composite veneers.
Another key difference is the process. Nanofill™ is completed in a single appointment, usually under four hours. Comparatively, the porcelain veneer process requires two appointments. If you are opting for porcelain, slight modification of the tooth is required, while Nanofill™ is non-invasive.

A very small amount. This is an essential step of the process, as it allows the veneer to sit perfectly on the teeth. However, we use a minimally invasive approach that preserves as much of your natural tooth structure as possible.
As mentioned previously, veneers are thin covers that sit on the front surface of the tooth. In comparison, crowns replace the visible portion of the tooth. Crowns are more suitable for severe damage and decay.
The answer to this depends on the number of teeth in need of treatment, which your dentist will identify. Some patients opt to have just their top six or eight teeth transformed, the teeth that are visible when you smile, while others choose to have a full mouth of veneers for a glamorous finish.
Porcelain veneers can last 15 years (or longer) if well cared for by the patient. When you choose Yorkshire Dental Suite for your treatment, you are paying for the highest quality product and treatment available.
Most patients are eligible for porcelain veneers. However, we ask that the following criteria applies:
- You have good oral health
- You have no gum disease present (hygienist appointments available)
- You have no cavities (fillings available)
