What is the dental implant process?

Dental implants consultation
Your smile transformation journey starts with a consultation. Your dentist will assess your oral health and identify that you are eligible for dental implants. Your custom treatment plan is also created.
Treatment day
After sedation, your failing and missing teeth are replaced with temporary dental implants in a process that takes less than seven hours to complete.
Recovery
Once the surgery is complete, it is time to go home and recover, while we create your final teeth in our laboratory. For most patients, recovery time is between three and four months.
Final fit
You will return to Yorkshire Dental Suite York to have your temporary teeth removed, and your permanent teeth fitted. After a final fit check, you can leave the clinic with your new smile.
