Dentistry has been my life’s work - a craft I’ve honed for more than two decades as surgeon, teacher and founder of Yorkshire Dental Suite. I started my career in maxillofacial surgery, treating complex traumas in hospitals across Yorkshire. Those years shaped my belief that dentistry should combine surgical discipline with artistry, restoring not just teeth but confidence and quality of life.

At YDS, I’ve built exactly that: a family-led clinic with my sons, designed to feel more like a calm, creative studio than a hospital ward. Here, I specialise in oral surgery, implants and oral medicine - the areas of dentistry where precision, planning and artistry matter most. I’ve placed thousands of implants and carried out countless reconstructions, but the reward is always the same: seeing a patient leave transformed, able to smile and live fully again.

Mastery of craft also means sharing it. Through the YDS Training Academy and my work with the Royal College of Surgeons, I mentor dentists across the UK and abroad, passing on the techniques and standards that have defined my own practice. I continue to lecture internationally, including in my home country of Libya, where I began this journey.

Dentistry for me is not a job but a legacy. Every patient, every smile, is part of that story.
