Dr Junaid Malik graduated from the University of Bristol and has been committed to post graduate education and further study having completed the membership diploma (MFDS) for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Dr Junaid’s interests have always lain in restorative and aesthetic dentistry which have led him to complete many courses including a year-long course in restorative dentistry and endodontics (root canal treatment).
He continued his learning in North America where he completed further training in restorative dentistry at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver.
In 2015, Dr Junaid decided to formalise his training in the form of a full time Masters (MSc) degree in Conservative Dentistry at the world renowned UCL Eastman Dental Institute whereby he was awarded the degree with distinction.
In September 2016, he was also awarded the post graduate prize in clinical and academic excellence and was also nominated for the Dean’s List and the Dean’s Research Project Prize for his contribution to dental research. His research being later published in an international journal.
Following on from his Masters degree, Dr Junaid has continued to learn from some of the best clinicians in the world by travelling to various parts of the globe in order to deliver the best possible care for his patients.
His advanced training allows him to take referrals for complex crown and bridge procedures (fixed prosthodontics), full mouth reconstructions, smile makeovers involving crowns and veneers and implant prosthodontics (implant crowns and bridges).
His calm and reassuring demeanour puts nervous patients at ease and his patients commend his communication skills as he makes sure that everything is explained clearly and emphatically in order to improve the patient journey.
His goal is to provide high quality, long lasting and aesthetic results paying particular emphasis on keeping things as conservative as possible in order to preserve what nature has provided.
Dr Malik has always been a keen traveller, having explored various parts of the globe, but when he is back home he loves spending time with his family.
When not at work, he can often be found in the gym or spending his evenings with his friends
